The Widget Channel technology, co-developed by Intel and Yahoo, is what drives all your media onto your TV. TV Widgets are trendy words for small Internet applications designed to enrich the TV viewing experience by bringing together media, information and community.

One of the main features you have once you have the YuiXX at home, is the YuiXX media widget; your ultimate media player & organizer. All of your personal movies, music, photos and videos are stored in the YuiXX and can be brought to your TV or can be shared wired or wireless to and from computers in your house. Trailers, video clips, TV channels, movies, photos and songs saved on any device at home can be streamed, shared or copied via the network (DLNA, Samba & NFS). This can be done from or to the YuiXX media application and you can have it instantly available on your TV. All the features of an HDD media player are now available in the YuiXX media widget.

YuiXX widget store:

After you have registered your YuiXX, you can enjoy many more widgets coming from the YuiXX widget store. Just use the scrollbar at the bottom and open the YuiXX widget store to see which widgets are available to use on your TV. The YuiXX will be regularly expanded with more and more widgets with different kinds of content and services:

- TV channels via Internet (IPTV services when available for your country)
- Upgrade the YuiXX with VoD services, games or other content in order to get the most out of your YuiXX.
- Weather news, stock exchange news, traffic info. etc.
- Gallery with multiple worldwide and national oriented services

Availability of Widgets

At the point of release of YuiXX, a number of widgets are available in the YuiXX widget store. Most of them are for the Netherlands only or are in the Dutch language. Some restrictions are defined, because where you are, for example when playing a streaming rented video. These services are mostly available per country and not globally.

Nevertheless, YuiXX will try to update the widget store with more widgets during the coming weeks, months and years with great content for different countries in different languages! You will always have access to the YuiXX media widget to play, share and stream via a (wireless) network your Full HD videos, photos and music to your TV.

Make sure you register your YuiXX and to keep yourself up to date when there are new releases.

YuiXX media widget

Only available in the YUIXX widget store: the YUIXX media widget. A unique media player and organizer in one! All your personal movies, music and photos which are saved on the YUIXX are directly available on your TV and can be shared wired or wireless, from and to your computers at home.

YuiXX info center

The YUIXX is always equipped with the standard Info center widget. Here you can see in a glance what the weather will be, an overview of the traffic jams and the headlines. In other words: the widget you HAVE to check before you leave to go to work or when you’re making plans for a sightseeing trip this weekend.

Fileindex.nl

Fileindex.nl gives you in a glance a complete and real-time overview of all traffic jams. The traffic jams are categorized per highway number and you can browse easily to check if there’s a traffic jam on your route. Maybe it is not always ‘fun’ information but very useful and quick on your TV!

Tetris

Have you always been addicted to Tetris? Then I have bad news for you. Because Tetris is now also available for the YUIXX! Try to beat the YUIXX!

YuiXX Profile Widget

YuiXX profiles is the widget where you create and update your own personal profile & settings of the YuiXX. All widgets you choose from the YuiXX widget store are connected to your profile. Simply create & protect different profiles for each family member.

With the NOS Nieuws widgets you can check the most actual facts of the day. No matter if it’s local news, worldwide news or the latest sports facts, with the NOS Nieuws widget your are always up to date!

Hardware.info TV

Owners of the YuiXX don’t need to install themselves in front of the PC anymore to watch the last episode of Hardware.Info TV. Just sit down and relax and watch all the latest reviews, tests and high-tech gadgets on your TV!
